Not all FTTX access lines support speed tiers above nbn12. We can't confirm your maximum access line speed until after your service has been installed. Once your service is installed and activated, your maximum access line speed will be tested. If your line will not support your chosen speed tier we will inform you and offer move you to a lower speed tier and refund any extra money you have paid for the higher speed tier. Depending on the service ordered, there may be additional up-front charges which are not a part of this promotion. These include, but are not limited to, charges such as Phone Line Activation Fee or Copper Line Installation Charges, Lead-in or Additional Cabling, Equipment Charges such as Modems, Routers or Splitters, Missed Appointment Fees or any complex on site work required to provide a functional broadband service. Frankston Internet provides this service via its vendors and partners. 1) The Porting Authority Form (PAF) must be fully completed by the authorised representative and is valid for 90 days. 2) Frankston Internet reserves the right to charge a fee for porting the telephone number(s) 3) You are responsible for settling your financial account with your current Service Provider if you owe them outstanding contractual obligations and costs. Frankston Internet is not liable for any such costs. 4) We provide no guarantee that it can port your telephone number from your current Service Provider. Your current Service Provider may reject this port request if the information you provide is incorrect or does not match the data held by them. A porting request may also be rejected for other reasons as stated in the Local Number Portability Code (C540), which is available on the Australian Communications and Media Authority website. 5) Frankston Internet provides no guarantee that the telephone number will be ported within any specified timeframe. 6) You must not deactivate your existing service when porting. Telephone numbers can only be ported while active. 7) You can only withdraw your authority to port this telephone number before the Electronic Cutover Advice is sent to your current Service Provider, which will be on or after the cutover date (we will advise you by email of this date). 8) Only your telephone number will be ported to Frankston Internet or its partners. This may result in the loss of any value added services (such as broadband) that are associated with the service provided by your existing Service Provider. 9) In the event of a port, withdrawal or reversal, we are not responsible for any period of outage of the service or features of your current service or any value added service provided by your current supplier. 10) If you wish to port your telephone number from us to another Service Provider, then you must contact the other Provider. 11) 13/1300/1800 Number Porting: the porting of your Freephone (1800) or Local Rate (13/1300) service will be conducted in accordance with Industry Numbering Management Services Ltd (INMS). The INMS has been entrusted with managing the pool of portable freephone/local rate numbers by the Australian Communication Authority (ACA) under section 467 of the Telecommunications Act 1997. In accordance with INMS business rules, a request for Porting shall be deemed invalid if: a) mandatory information supplied is ineligible, inaccurate or missing b) the PAF is not signed by an authorised person c) the PAF is not dated d) the date of the PAF is more than 30 days before the porting request is sent by the recipient Prime Service Deliverer (PSD) via INMS to the donor PSD. 12) Local Number Portability (LNP) does not guarantee you can keep your telephone number if you move to a different geographic location. 13) The terms of the relevant Frankston Internet current terms and conditions, as varied from time to time, will apply to the use of services. 14) Privacy: We only collects personal information from you that is necessary to perform the service sought by you. The kinds of personal information we hold about you will depend on the services you request from Frankston Internet and the use that you make of those services. 15) We respects your privacy. As a result, we will not trade, rent or sell your personal information to provide you with a communications service. In the course of providing this service to you, we may also use your personal information for the following related services: provisioning or connecting your service, network routing, providing you with customer service, credit checking, billing, investigating complaints & fixing faults in relation to your service and any payment follow ups that you may owe us. We may also use your personal information to tell you about our other products and services or bundled offerings, provided by us in conjunction with either our related bodies corporate or our business partners and associates. You agree that Frankston Internet may exchange information about those credit providers named in this application or named in a consumer credit report issued by a credit reporting agency for the following purposes to: a) assess an application for credit b) notify other credit providers of a default by the Applicant c) exchange information with other credit providers as to the status of this account where you are in default with other credit providers d) assess your credit worthiness e) provide information to you about other goods or services which we or any of our Related Bodies Corporate, or any of our partners and associates or the partners and associates of suppliers (such as telecommunication entities, providers of products or services which are related to the services, media entities, event organizers, equipment suppliers and the suppliers of any other product or service with whom we have engaged in a joint initiative) may offer to you. 16) Generally you have the right to see or obtain a copy of personal information about you that we may hold. We will handle requests for access to personal information in accordance with the National Privacy Principles. To request access to your personal information, please contact us.
